- Honoured as a Dato’ Sri by the Sultan of Pahang, and was awarded ‘‘Successful Entrepreneur’’ by GRC Press Holdings in 2010

- Has an academic background in both computer studies and accounting at Informatics Computer School Singapore; obtained a Diploma in Computer Studies from the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, and an International Diploma in Computer Studies from the National Computing Centre

- Previously worked at Rich Capital Holdings Limited (SGX: 5G4), Cypress Singapore Pac CPA Firm and Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton LLP
- Awarded a bachelor of science degree in applied accounting from the Oxford Brookes University, and became a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. Admitted as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
